About Tara September

Tara September is a multi-award-winning romance author writing steamy and sassy sports romance, contemporary romance, and New Adult love stories filled with witty banter, irresistible chemistry, humor, and heart. She is the author of the interconnected Lesson in Love college sports romance series, featuring hockey, soccer, track, and more, as well as contemporary romance standalones.

 

Before becoming an author, Tara worked as a PR executive for The Walt Disney Company and communications manager for WWE. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and communications from New York University and a B.A. from Wheaton College in Massachusetts. For more than 20 years, she has also covered travel, food, lifestyle, and family experiences as a journalist and blogger at TaraMetBlog.com.

 

An avid romance reader, Tara has been daydreaming about becoming a romance author since high school. Now she’s living that dream in sunny Southwest Florida, where she writes happily-ever-afters with her twin boys and three distractions—I mean, cats—keeping life interesting.

 

Tara is also President of the Southwest Florida Fiction Writers group and is available for speaking opportunities, author events, and workshops.
